Kota Kinabalu: The United Progressive Kinabalu Organization (Upko) applauded the Court of Appeal’s judgement on Jan 19 that Wong Kueng Hui, 27, is a citizen of this country, despite the fact that his father is a Malaysian and his mother is thought to be an Indonesian citizen.
Wong has been trying to become a citizen for a long time, having first applied in 2007.
