TAWAU: Eleven players will represent Tawau Badminton Academy (TBA) in the Sabah Teenager Flypower Badminton Tournament 2022 to be held at the Keningau Sports Complex on February 10-13.They will take part in four categories with Muhammad Syazlan (SJKC Phui Yuk Tawau)/Aniq Zafran Maezra and Syahmi Rizq Senawing/Muhammad Firdaus Abdullah competing in the boys doubles 12-year-old and below, Hanif Wafii (SMK Tawau)/Muhammad Areefin Soon Ming (SMK Jambatan Putih Tawau) in the boys doubles 14-year-old and below while Voo Jun Yu, Fung Jia Dau, Chua Jin Kang and Ong Ren Jun will feature in the boys singles 16-year-old and below.

Syahmi Rizq and Muhammad Firdaus will also participate in the boys singles 12-year-old category while Syahmi Kamal Senawing will compete in the boys singles 14-year-old.
Meanwhile the head of TBA, Jackie Tan expressed his gratitude to the managing director of Innoprise Plantation Bhd, William Tan, for his generosity and sponsorship of jerseys and funds for the players, and appreciates William’s support of TBA throughout the years.
Jackie hopes the players will display a positive spirit of sports and teamwork throughout the tournament while playing vigorously and fight for the honour of TBA, as well as Tawau district.
