SANDAKAN: Alternative plans are needed to help reduce water supply problems in the Taman Sentosa housing area, especially Sentosa Apartment, here.Sandakan Member of Parliament, Vivian Wong Shir Yee, said this is important so the residents no longer have to face the same issue.

“They have been facing either absence of water supply or low water pressure during and after the leaked pipe repair work was done.
“The problem continues till today and affects the quality of life of the residents.
“The public knows that clean water is important, let alone in this pandemic,” she said after visiting the housing area with the Water Department to discuss plans to place tanks for public use in times of emergency.
However, Vivian said putting the tank there is not a long-term solution.

“I hope the relevant parties could come up with the best solution as well as provide relief and facilities to the residents who have been affected by the water supply problem for a long time,” she said.
