Envoy impressed with grassroot work

THE UK High Commissioner  said it is exciting to see grassroot organisations find solutions that actually work,  thus addressing the real needs of the community.He hoped these will be replicated elsewhere and he will be visiting the projects on the field.

He signed the commemorative plaque of the workshop centre which the Commission helped to set up 20 years ago.

Create Borneo has successfully carried out micro-hydro power supply projects for remote villages using recycled materials to make long lasting turbines and upcycling high density plastic waste and bottles.
