KENINGAU: A total of 80 asnafs, poor, orphans, single mothers and fathers received Hari Raya aid in the form of money and other items from United Sabah Islamic Association (Usia) President, Datuk Haji Sairin Karno at a hotel here.
The donations were each presented by Sairin and his wife, Datin Bibi Farizan Amjad at the breaking of fast ceremony at the end of Ramadan which was attended by more than 300 people comprising community leaders and non-Muslims, including the Chinese.
