Kota Kinabalu: A total of 161 Chinese construction workers assembled in front of the Consulate General of the People’s Republic of China, here, to seek assistance regarding delayed payments owed to them by a Singapore-based developer.

This is the second known incident involving China construction workers seeking help from the Consulate General to recover wages owed to them this year.

In the first incident, some 60 China construction workers walked to the consulate to seek help in January, claiming that 169 of them have been hired to work on a construction project in the city but never got paid since November last year.
