LABUAN: The Church of Blessed Sacrament “Feast Day” became a memorable one when the head of the Kota Kinabalu Archdiocese, Archbishop John Wong Soo Kau, swapped his cassock for an apron prepared his signature fried tom yam mee dish.
The prelate’s unusual effort helped raise the spirits of the parishioners as well as boost food sales to raise much-needed funds for rebuilding the old church which has the theme “moving towards a more dignified church”.
