PAPAR: Countering rising costs of essential goods and high cost of living should be the priority of the government and not banning those born after 2005 from smoking.
Commenting on the plan by Health Minister Khairy Jamaluddin to table the relevant law in Parliament, Papar MP Ahmad Hassan said though the plan was good, the government should know where its priority lies.

“The rising inflation rate and cost of living have burdened the people, especially those in the lower income group and the poor. This should be the priority of the government,” he pointed out.
