PAPAR: The recent salary increment for State Cabinet members and elected representatives was not justified, especially at this time when the rakyat (people) are suffering due to the rising cost of living and increasing prices of goods, says Papar Member of Parliament Ahmad Hassan.Questioning the real rationale behind the move, he said it was bad timing when the State Legislative Assembly passed the amendment to increase the administrators’ salaries by 40 per cent.
