3S centre to cater for needs of Electric Vehicle market

FM by Falida said it is also looking into introducing multi-brands of EVs to the automotive segment in Sabah.
Kota Kinabalu: FM by Falida, the pioneer of Electric Vehicle (EV) in Sabah, is investing in a 3S (sales, service and spare parts) service centre to cater for the needs of the upcoming EV market in the State.This centre, designed by a team of young upcoming architects of Square Design KK, will be manned by a team of qualified and specialised EV service technicians for carrying out the maintenance of EVs in Sabah while, at the same time, giving confidence to clients.

FM by Falida announced this at the launch of premium EV brand Tesla here last weekend, which was officiated by Assistant Minister to the Finance Minister, Jasnih Daya. Jasnih urged the people in Sabah to adapt to changes and take it as an opportunity for them to expand their horizons using digital technology.
For this, he said the focus for skills training also should be shifted to the EV ecosystem and its chain.
“We should realise that changes does not wait for us, we need to chase it fast so we will not be left behind,” he said, while hoping the introduction of EV in Sabah will instil awareness among the people on the importance of green preservation and progress as well as motoring industrial evolution during this era of digitalisation.
Besides Tesla, FM by Falida said it is also looking into introducing multi-brands of EVs to the automotive segment in Sabah.

Its upcoming gallery showroom will also allow clients to experience EVs first hand, served by its EV sales team. The gallery showroom will also serve as a Lifestyle Hub.
For the convenience of its EV clients, FM by Falida together with PEKEMA Malaysia are also looking into setting up charging stations with the support of the Ministry of Science and Technology at strategic areas in Sabah.
