Joachim makes work visit to Hexa Food

SELANGOR: Minister of Industrial Development (MID), Datuk Dr. Joachim Gunsalam visited the food processing factory Hexa Food Sdn. Bhd., in Shah Alam on his work visit here on Monday.The purpose of the visit was to learn more of the industrial activities carried out by the factory and the technology that can be applied to factories involved in Sabah.

Sabah Federation of Malaysian Manufacturers (FMM) president James Ha who also participated in the visit said Hexa Food is a company that implements Industrial Revolution 4.0 (IR4.0) technology.
“We want to see how IR4.0 manages and helps this company from a simple start to a state-of-the-art automated production company that caters to the domestic and export markets,” he said.
Hexa Food Sdn. Bhd. is a local food manufacturing company producing over a hundred types of spices, herbs, seasonings, ready-to-cook premixes and marinades.
Dr. Joachim thanked the MID staff in collaboration with FMM for making the work visit a success.
