PAPAR: The value of The Palm Condominium in Kinarut here is bound to appreciate in the long run due to its strategic location.

However its developer WSG Group managing director Datuk Susan Wong Siew Guen said her company is offering 10 per cent discount on the remaining units from now till September 30, 2022 in conjunction with the Malaysia Day celebration. She said the Palm Condominium consists of five residential towers, of which Tower A, B, C and D have been completed. Tower E is expected to be launched in 2024. At 18 storeys tall, the newly-completed Tower B has 136 units consisting of three bedrooms and two bathrooms, with a built-up area of 1,180 square feet, as well as four penthouses. “The Palm Condominium is only 10 minutes’ drive away from Kota Kinabalu International Airport (KKIA) and 20 minutes away from the city centre. “Residents could enjoy a range of facilities, including 24-hour security, swimming pool, gymnasium, indoor badminton and basketball court, as well as a variety of retail shops and supermarkets within walking distance,” Susan said.

A house buyer who received his condominium keys, Mohd Farid and his wife Norhafizah Ayub bought the condominium unit developed by the WSG Group as a long-term investment. The couple said they were offered a good price by the developer which they deemed affordable for the property. The duo currently live in Keningau – Farid working at Department of Islamic Development Malaysia (Jakim) and Norhafizah with the State Health Department in the district. “We have invested in a mountain facing unit here due to its strategic location. “I am confident that the value of the condominium will increase in the long run,” Farid said after receiving his house keys for Tower B from Susan and director Vanessa Wong here, recently. Meanwhile, Fauziani Ramlan said she and her husband Budiman Amat jointly bought The Palm Condominium as their first home. The couple, who are both engineers, knew that the condominium would be perfect for their family because their children would love to play in the swimming pool. “We like the serene environment here and the facilities. “Most of all, we prefer living in Kinarut and there are not many condominiums here. So, the Palm Condominium, being a new project, is one of the reasons we bought a unit here,” she said.

On the other hand, Mohd Amirul Yusof acquired a unit because the condominium is close to his hometown in Papar. Amirul works as a health inspector in Sandakan while his wife works in Queen Elizabeth Hospital (QEH). “We love the mountain view from our home,” he said, when asked the reason he decided on The Palm Condominium.
