‘Kota Belud should have another parliamentary seat’
“I also agree with the move to regain 35 per cent of Parliament seats as raised in the Special Council Meeting on the Malaysia Agreement 1963 (MA63) chaired by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob recently,” Ewon said.
KOTA BELUD: United Progressive Kinabalu Organisation (Upko) Kota Belud Division suggested that the Kota Belud Parliament seat be split into two when the review of electoral  boundaries is conducted in 2025.Its Vice President cum Kota Belud Upko Division Head Datuk Ewon Benedick said this is important considering that the Kota Belud parliamentary seat is very large and has a huge population.

Upko proposed that the Kota Belud Parliament be split into two seats, namely Kadamaian and Kota Belud.
