KENINGAU: State Minister of Science, Technology and Innovation, Datuk Yakub Khan, said digitisation of Native Courts documents in all districts has already started and expects it to be completed by the end of this year.

“Aware of the importance of the development of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) nowadays, we are taking the initiative to digitisation for further empower the Native Court,” he told reporters after officiating the Public Sector ICT Seminar for the Upper Interior Region held at the Perkasa hotel, here, Wednesday.

He said his Ministry through the State Computer Services Department has taken steps and initiatives to digitise all important documents so that they can be preserved with the ICT system.
