Warisan hopes for bigger voice in parliament
Shafie (right) said he is happy with Kong’s (left) entry to Warisan which he saw as having the ability to further strengthen the party’s struggle in Tawau and Sabah as a whole.
TAWAU: Parti Warisan President Datuk Seri Mohd Shafie Apdal said he will announce the number of parliamentary seats the party will contest for when the time comes. He said Warisan wants the people of Sabah to have their voices heard in Parliament and not only in the State Assembly. “If we want to be heard, we need to have a high number. If we are small, our voice is small. But if we are big, our voice is big,” he said, when asked about the number the party would field in the 15th General Election.

He said what is important is that the party continues to strengthen the support of the people and prepare to face the election.
