Dengue cases recorded the highest in Sandakan
A total of 1,074 cases were recorded in Sandakan
SANDAKAN: Sandakan recorded the highest number of dengue cases in the State.

As of Thursday, there were 40 outbreaks compared to other districts that recorded between one and 12 outbreaks. Among the hotspot areas is Mukim Sentosa, most of which are in Mile 7, including Tinosa Village and housing estates up to Mile 10.

In the same period, 669 compounds have been issued. When contacted on Thursday, Sandakan Health Officer Dr. Johari Awang Besar, said from epidemiological week one to 37, a total of 1,074 cases were recorded in Sandakan.
