Lim Zi Yuan wins 2022 SICF Latte Art competition

KOTA KINABALU: Lim Zi Yuan emerged champion in the 2022 Sabah International Coffee Festival Latte Art competition, Sunday – a coveted title among many baristas in Sabah’s specialty coffee scene.
The 26-year-old from Alor Setar, Kedah, brought home a cash prize of RM1,000, a trophy, certificate and sponsored goodies.

Kevin Chew from Sarawak placed second while Lim Ser Ying, a Sabahan, placed third. They both brought home coffee brewing equipment, a trophy, a certificate and sponsored goodies.
Meanwhile, James Pan Zheng Yu won the Brewers Cup Competition which was held on the second day of the festival on Saturday.
The 23-year-old who represented Pixel Coffee Cafe, pocketed a cash prize of RM1,000, a trophy and sponsored goodies.
Samson Lai Xuan Sheng from Sabah placed second while Jeffrey Ang from Penang finished third. They both brought home coffee brewing equipment, a trophy, a certificate and sponsored goodies.
