Elderly man dies after falling into Penampang drain
PENAMPANG: An elderly man died after tripping into a drain near Donggongon, here, on Tuesday morning.

Police said the 66-year-old local sustained serious injuries to the back of his head in the fall resulting in his death.

Penampang Police Chief, DSP Mohd Haris Ibrahim, said health workers pronounced the man’s death at the scene.

“Further investigations revealed the victim’s history of health complications, meanwhile no criminal elements were found," he said.
