“Anwar’s vast experience is believed to be able to bring much-needed economic revival for the people and development of the entire country,” he said in a statement on Nov 24.
He also hoped the Pakatan Harapan Manifesto, including empowering the Sabah and Sarawak regions, would be implemented well.
Meanwhile, GRS agreed to the formation of a unity government as advised by the King.
Hajiji said GRS is of the same stance as GPS to comply with the Agong’s advice to establish a unity government for the sake of national stability and the people’s wellbeing.ADVERTISEMENT
It was necessary to form the Federal Government immediately, he added.
“GRS is of the opinion that the establishment of a unity government should be inclusive and involves the Sabah and Sarawak Governments which received the people’s mandate. To ensure that the country moves forward, we must have political stability in order to guarantee economic development, towards national prosperity and the people’s wellbeing,” he said.
