Ex-IGP receives Seri Panglima Darjah Kinabalu award

Kota Kinabalu: Former Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Acryl Sani Abdullah Sani on Tuesday received the State’s highest award, the Seri Panglima Darjah Kinabalu (SPDK) which carries the title Datuk Seri Panglima.
Acryl, who is also Perbadanan Usahawan Nasional Berhad Chairman, led the list of 206 recipients’ conferred awards, stars and medals in conjunction with the Head of State’s 70th Official Birthday at the Istana Seri Kinabalu.

Former Sabah Puspanita Chairperson Datuk Hairani @ Rosenani Hussaini, Sabah and Sarawak Tabung Haji Director, Datuk Nurlaila Said, Kuala Lumpur Criminal Investigation Department Head, SAC Datuk Habibi Majinji and Esscom Chief Executive Officer Datuk Dr. Jamaluddin Mohd Ali were among 26 recipients to receive the Panglima Gemilang Darjah Kinabalu (PGDK) which carries the title Datuk.
Also receiving the PGDK were State Education Director Datuk Raisin Saidin, Sabah Urban Development Corporation Chairman Datuk Jamawi Ja’afar, Sabah Islamic Religious Council Deputy Chairman Datuk Malai Ali Malai Ahmad and local singer Datuk Francis Landong.
State Information Department Deputy Director, Supian Musa and the Deputy Chairman of the State Cultural Board, Stanis Buandih are among the recipients of the Ahli Setia Darjah Kinabalu (ASDK), while Celestina Ubing Press Secretary to Deputy Chief Minister cum Local Government and Housing Minister received the Ahli Darjah Kinabalu (ADK).
Head of State Tun Juhar Mahiruddin was present together with his wife, Toh Puan Norlidah R.M.Jasni.

The Justice of Peace (JP) were also awarded to former Balung Assemblyman Datuk Osman Jamal, Housing and Urban Development Authority Board of Director Suzeinah Saulkmen and Mohamed Nazim Maduarin.
