Kota Kinabalu: Sabah will be represented by 10 players in the grand final of the SportExcel Milo NSC MTBC Tenpin Bowling tournament starting today (Friday) at Sunway Megalanes Sunway Pyramid in Selangor.

The five to compete in the open category are Chloe Ho Rui Zhi, Nur Aleeya Syakirah  Awang Ali, Emmanuel Fo Yung Khee, Bryan Liew Tze Chun and  Brandon Liew Tze Vui.

Dhaniya Marissa Aleeya  Drahman, Aaron Liew Tze Hao, Awang Syamsul Khusairi Ag Samsudin will be taking part in the graded category, while Miasara Adawiyah Saiful and  Muhammad Faris Faiq Afillah are in the Under-12 category.

The contingent is led by team manager Siti Nurafiqah accompanied by coaches Sheridan, Steven and  Ricky.

Sabah Tenpin Bowling Association president Rozzainnysham Talip urged the players to do their best in the tournament organised by Malaysia Tenpin Bowling Congress and try to get into the national youth squad.

According to him, only those who accumulated enough points from the circuit tour started in January  qualified for the grand finals and the eventual winners in each category will be drafted into the national squad.
