LABUAN: Member of Parliament Datuk Suhaili Abdul Rahman is keeping his Labuan seat even though Bersatu is revoking his party membership for declaring allegiance to Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.
“We wait and see” was Suhaili’s brief response when contacted for his next move following the party leadership decision to expel the six rebel Bersatu MPs and an assemblyman for breaking party lines.

Bersatu Information Chief Datuk Razali Idris was reported as saying that the rogue members would be notified of the latest party decision in accordance to procedures so that by-elections could be immediately held for the vacated seats.
Suhailii, who shifted support to Anwar end of last year, said he won the Labuan seat on his own merit having served the island well as a MP for two terms (1999 and 2004).
