Deputy Chief Minister I, Datuk Seri Dr Jeffrey G Kitingan said that the open house concept in any celebration can strengthen the relationship between leaders and the people, as well as unity and goodwill among residents of multiple races and religions.

He said the celebration of Hari Raya, like other festivals, is a channel for unity celebrated by all levels of society and is what makes Sabah unique.
