PBS confident of retaining Matunggong

KUDAT: Parti Bersatu Sabah (PBS) Acting President Datuk Seri Dr Joachim Gunsalam, expressed confidence that the party will be able to retain the Matunggong State seat in the next election (PRN).
Speaking at PBS Matunggong Division annual meeting at the KDCA Matunggong Hall in Kampung Toporoi Friday, Dr Joachim said: “The Matunggong Division of PBS has a membership of no less than 10,000 people, and Matunggong cannot be defeated in the upcoming PRN.”
The division meeting, the first this year, involved 125 branches and was attended by approximately 600 members. Dr Joachim, who is also Deputy Chief Minister II, congratulated and commended all the members who attended.
