Telupid winner to compete against sister at finals

TELUPID: Queency Isabelle Ladzrus, 23, was crowned as Telupid 2024’s Unduk Ngadau champion at the Telupid District Kaamatan Festival Celebration held at the Sabah Forestry Institute (IPS) Telupid Hall, here, last Saturday.
As the champion, Queency received a cash prize of RM3,000, crown, trophy, certificate, bouquet, beauty products and beauty vouchers.

The gift was presented by Datin Litah Anita Phillip who is also the wife of Telupid Assemblyman, Datuk Jonnybone J Kurum, who officiated the ceremony.
The crowning was completed by Litah with the Unduk Ngadau Telupid 2023 champion, Doren Olivia Gilbert.
As the champion, Queency who defeated 11 other beauties at the ceremony will represent the Telupid district to Unduk Ngadau at the state level.
She will also meet her sister, who is the Unduk Ngadau KDCA Sarawak 2024 champion, Qheesthyna Issandra Ladzrus, representing KDCA Sarawak, at the Sabah State-level Kaamatan Festival at the end of the month.

Meanwhile, second place in Unduk Ngadau Telupid 2024 was won by Judith Chrissie Edwin, who brought home RM2,000 in cash along with a trophy, certificate, bouquet of flowers, beauty products and beauty vouchers.
Third place went to Quenses Eva Lysthie Wong, 18, who brought home a cash prize of RM1,000 along with a trophy, certificate, bouquet of flowers, beauty products and beauty vouchers.

Consolation winners received RM300, a certificate, bouquet of flowers and bathroom set.
Meanwhile, the fourth to seventh place winners received RM400, a certificate, a bouquet of flowers and bathroom set.
