CM affirms strong Sabah-China partnership

KOTA KINABALU: Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor has expressed confidence that strategic ties between Sabah and China will continue to strengthen through diplomatic relations and joint development initiatives.

He conveyed this during a courtesy call by the newly appointed Chinese Consul General in Kota Kinabalu, Dr Zhu Xinglong, at Menara Kinabalu on Wednesday.

Hajiji congratulated Zhu on his appointment and welcomed him to his new post in Sabah.

He highlighted the state government’s commitment to creating an investor-friendly environment to attract more Chinese investments, especially in key industrial areas.
