The theatre called the New Lacin Theatre was built at a cost of $160,000/-, and has a seating capacity of 650 seats. Very modern in design and very well equipped with cinemascopic screen, this theatre will be open for service as from the 1st. The opening ceremony which took place today was officiated by Mr J. There was no Cocktail Party as it is customary, instead, the Management had donated a sum of $1,000/- to the various local schools and charitable institutions.
