Governor inspects new road

JESSELTON, Wed. – The Governor, Sir William Goode today inspected the new Papar road which has now reached Mile 17. He drove along the newly-constructed highway from Donggongon to the outskirts of Kinarut.
The leading PWD bulldozers are now pushing their way through hilly country two miles beyond Kinarut. The road is expected to reach Papar by the end of this year.
