NGO seeking land to house homeless animals

OVER the past several months there has been a sharp increase in the number of abandoned cats and dogs.

These include the old, injured, sick, pregnant and even mamas and their pups/kittens were discarded and left to fend for themselves – often on busy roads, near communal bins or shoplots.

The culprits are heartless humans who are not only perpetrating acts of immense cruelty but are also breaking the law on animal cruelty.

As always, it’s the handful of shelters and NGOs who pick up these discarded animals and they have to bear the costs for the animals’ medical bills, food, care and if lucky finding the animals loving homes.

This all takes huge resources let alone time and money but we do want we can to help.

This article is a special appeal to anyone who could help us help the animals by securing or donating a piece of land to better take care of these unloved animals.

The main issue we are experiencing once having rescued an animal is where to take them. There currently is no safe or secure facility open to rescuers, especially since shelters and NGOs have limited capacity.

We urgently need a piece of land where the most venerable can have a safe place to rest and recover and this is where we would like your help.

We are appealing to your kindness and please ask friends and family if they would be willing to loan us some land, min 20,000sq feet, not too far away from Kota Kinabalu.

If anyone is able to help please contact via WhatsApp at 016-842 9595 or 014-795 9511. We would be happy to discuss our plans with you further.
