Sabah youth, sports ministry not a job placement agency: Ellron

Kota Kinabalu: State Youth and Sports Minister Datuk Ellron Angin said that the Ministry does not have a specific solution to help young people find jobs quickly. 

“This is because my Ministry is not a job placement agency,” he said in response to a question from Kemabong assemblyman Datuk Rubin Balang during the State Legislative Assembly sitting here on Tuesday.

However, he said the ministry is taking steps to support youth in employment. 

The ministry has partnered with the Social Security Organisation (Socso) to encourage young job seekers to register with Socso’s MyFutureJobs.
