In preparation for the expected influx of vehicles on the road during the upcoming Hari Raya season, Goodyear Malaysia through its Ramadhan and Hari Raya Consumer Promotion (Ramadhan and Raya – Goodyear Win a car) offers Malaysians the opportunity to purchase a new set of tyres at an attractive offer. The motivation is to highlight the threat of bald tyres to road users and prevent any further contribution to the 19,538 cases of accidents as reported in Op Selamat 13 last year.

During the campaign period, which runs from 1 May to 30 June 2019, those who purchase selected Goodyear tyres will stand the chance to win the grand prize of a new Honda City, as well as 10 years’ worth of tyre supplies.
Customers can opt for two different sets of promotions – the first features high-end tyres, including the Eagle F1 Asymmetric series, EfficientGrip series, Run on Flat (ROF) and Eagle F1 Directional 5 series, while the second is the more affordable option, which includes the Assurance TripleMax series, Wrangler TripleMax and Optilife range.
Among the tyres offered under the performance tyre category is the Eagle F1 Asymmetric 3, an Ultra High-Performance tyre designed to handle the various road conditions. It comes equipped with GripBooster Technology for better braking and handling, as well as Reinforced Construction Technology for steering precision and durability.
Part of this promotion also includes Goodyear’s quietest luxury tyre, the Goodyear EfficientGrip Performance (EGP) and SUV tyre. Both tyres offer the innovation of Quiet Tred, ActiveBraking, FuelSaving and WearControl Technologies, along with an additional FlexContact Technology in the Goodyear EGP SUV tyre to offer consumers a safer and enjoyable driving experience. These tyres offer superior noise dampening, increased grip and braking performance in wet road conditions, shorter braking distances, reduced rolling resistance and shock absorbing cushion layer to lower tyre vibration for a ride that is not only safe, but incredibly comfortable. This series of tyres are available for both passenger cars and SUVs.
Another featured tyre is the Goodyear Assurance TripleMax 2 (ATM2). Manufactured with the latest HydroTred technology, it allows cars to have better braking performance, especially on wet roads. It also has an asymmetric thread design, making it easily adaptable to any circumstance providing better handling and comfort performance for a safe and comfortable drive.
