LABUAN: A Sabah-based activist says lawyer Marcel Jude was right in his arguments seeking leave from the High Court to have the Sabah State election delayed beyond 60 days due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Datuk Patrick Sindu said the surge in Covid-19 cases here and in mainland Sabah after the State election manifested, in no uncertain terms, that the concerns expressed by the lawyer were legitimate.

After the Sept 26 State election, both Sabah and Labuan have been placed under CMCO (Conditional Movement Control Order). In the case of Labuan, it was after voters and others returned to the island.
