Kota Kinabalu: The National Consumer Federation of Malaysia (YPNM) claims that it is receiving information from members about panic buying and feelings of worry due to recent talks of a possible declaration of emergency status in the country.
It’s President Datuk Firdaus Abdullah told Mingguan Malaysia that the rumours of an emergency implementation by the government to deal with the spread of the Covid-19 pandemic provided an excuse to retailers to hike prices of goods.
