Tuaran Police Chief DSP Mohd Hamizi Halim said Azlan Arif Abdullah was seriously injured due to reptile bites on his body, abdomen and right leg.

He said initial investigations found that the victim, who lived near the mangrove swamp there, went to look for “lokan” (river shells) and clams with seven others along the river bank.
