Sabah govt drafting five-year plan to revive economy: Hajiji
Kota Kinabalu: The Sabah government is drafting a five-year development strategy to revive the state’s economy and promote socio-economic welfare for the people.

Chief Minister Datuk Hajiji Noor in a statement said the new strategic development plan themed ‘Sabah Maju Jaya’ would be launched soon after incorporating views and inputs gathered from engagements with key stakeholders.

“The development plan will outline a realistic and comprehensive approach for the state,” he added.

Earlier, Hajiji chaired a meeting on the draft of the strategic development plan and listened to a briefing by the Sabah State Public Service Department (JPAN) at the Sabah State Administrative Centre, here, today.

Also present were Sabah state secretary, Datuk Safar Untong; JPAN director-general, Datuk Rosmadi Sulai and permanent secretaries of all the state’s ministries.
