KENINGAU: Flash floods from several rivers due to heavy rains since 4pm on Wednesday have been described as the worst in recent memory with some houses faced with up to one metre of water.
Some roads in Patikang Ulu, Kg Kauran and other areas have become impassable and dangerous to vehicles.

The office of the Liawan Community Development Leaders Unit (UPPM) hopes that the flood problem can be solved thoroughly, especially in risky areas.

A spokesman for the Unit also asked the Drainage and Irrigation Department (DID) to expedite the report to the Government so as to apply for allocations.
