Tenom: A retired SK St Anthony Headmistress succumbed to injuries at the hospital, here, after being involved in a car accident near Kg Pulong, Tenom-Keningau road, on Monday. The 61-year-old breathed her last at about 4.30pm.

Her 62-year-old husband, also a retired teacher, sustained slight injuries when their Isuzu DMax collided with a Toyota Prado driven by a 42-year-old man who escaped unscathed.
District Police Chief DSP Hassan Majid did not release their names except to say that initial findings showed that the tragedy happened at about 1.30pm.
