KENINGAU: State Assistant Minister of Works, Datuk Robert Tawik has instructed the Public Works Department (PWD) and the Drainage and Irrigation Department (DID) to take action to overcome the problem of drainage in this district.
He believes some of the drains that have been built for a long time are no longer suitable and need to be upgraded to cope with the flash floods that occur when it rains.
