Kota Kinabalu: Some 120 villages in low-lying areas in three districts – Pitas, Beaufort and Paitan - remained affected by flash floods, Saturday.

Pitas recorded the highest number of flood victims with a total of 47, followed by Paitan with 42 and Beaufort 31.
As of 4pm on Saturday, statistics provided by the State Civil Defence Force showed that 51 families comprising 183 flood victims remained sheltered in five flood relief centres in the three districts.
The centres in Pitas are Dewan Kg Kusilad and SK Pekan II, Beaufort (Dewan DSP Mohd Dun Banir) and Paitan (Dewan Kubambangan and Dewan Binsulung).
