PENAMPANG: Taman Country Shangrila residents are in a dilemma each time it rains.
A resident, Catherine, expressed frustration that each time their properties are heavily damaged especially the pathways and whatever is exposed. This had always been the situation ever since she moved there 10 years ago.

Although grateful for the authorities coming to improve the drainage system, it was slow. As a result, the next flood came in while the authorities were still trying to complete the task.
“The drainage is being done but the construction is quite slow. They have a lot of bottle neck that caused bad flooding in our area,” she said.
