PAPAR: Residents here are reminded to adhere to the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) or stern action will be taken against violators during the Movement Control Order (MCO) period from Jan 13 until 26.

With the grace period over (Jan 13 to 15) District Police Chief DSP Batholomew Ak Umpit said the public should prepare the relevant travelling documents to be presented when going through roadblocks.

As implemented before, he said the documents needed are only for those listed under the essential services and industries allowed to operate throughout the MCO period. For those not relevant would face the consequences.

“We have set up roadblocks in three locations in the district which are at Bongawan police station, Kuarters Kereta Api along Jalan Lama Papar-Kota Kinabalu and Sabindo which are at the borders of Papar district.
