TAMBUNAN: The Tambunan District Council has listed the types of businesses and services allowed during the enforcement of the Movement Control Order (MCO) from Jan 13-26 in accordance with the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) that has been set by the government. Council Chairman, Jumain Abdul Ghani said business premises that can open during the MCO are restaurants, stalls, eateries, grocery stores and convenience stores where the operating hours are from 6am to 8pm.
He said only take away are allowed for restaurants, stalls and eateries.

According to him, laundry outlets and self-service shops can operate from 6am to 8pm while nurseries, kindergartens and registered childcare centres are allowed to operate. Hotels and accommodations are allowed to operate but guests are not allowed to leave their room.
“Pharmacies and stores selling medicines are allowed to operate from 6am-8pm while clinics, hospitals, private clinics, laboratories and animal clinics are allowed to operate 24 hours,” he said.
