SANDAKAN: The State Government should provide the opposition with funding to reduce the financial impact of the community in the respective constituencies throughout the Covid-19 pandemic.

(pic) said, as an opposition assemblyman, they would also like to contribute and help to soften the impact to the community but without funding from the State Government it is not quite possible.

The Acting Chairman of DAP Sabah also said they had limited fund in reaching out to the community.
“After all, each assemblyman is chosen by his or her constituents. The State Government should respect the wishes of the people and should allocate certain annual funds to the opposition so that they can go to the ground to help alleviate the problems arising from natural disasters and Covid-19.
