A LUYANG rate-payer has been instructed to stop offering maternity-related services from his/ her house.
A City Hall spokesman said a notice to this effect was given to the individual in the first week of January.

He said an inspection had earlier been carried out, following complaints that women in confinement were being put up at the premises.
“Our officers confirmed that a business was operating from the residence, with new mothers being tended to by wet-nurses inside,” he said.
