He stressed that the repair work must be carried out as soon as possible considering that it is one of the main routes linking east and west territories.

Apart from that, he said, it is also to prevent any unwanted incidents from happening to everyone who travels by on the route.
“Repair work needs to be carried out immediately because this road is the main route and many public vehicles pass through this road. We do not want accidents to happen,” he said at a press conference after inspecting the location of the landslide incident on Wednesday.
