Kota Kinabalu: The cracks at the flyover near Hilltop, in Luyang, will be repaired immediately by a concession company which has been given the responsibility by the Government to maintain the road structure.
Deputy Chief Minister who is also Sabah Works Minister Dato’ Sri Bung Moktar Radin said the maintenance works would be carried out by the concession company because the company that built the viaduct had handed over to the government after the construction work was completed and the road structure could be used.

“So far, motorists can still use the road. However, we close the upper and lower lanes for public safety apart from installing warning signs,” he said after a surprise visit, Thursday.
Also present were Sabah Works Ministry Permanent Secretary Mohd Jasmin Julpin, Public Works Department Director Ali Ahmad Hamid, senior ministry officials and representatives from concessionaires.
