Sabah to set up water commission to privatise supply, fix perennial problems: Bung Moktar

Kota Kinabalu: A water commission will be set up in Sabah to privatise water supply and to tackle perennial water woes, said Sabah Works Minister Datuk Seri Bung Moktar Radin.
There is a need for the proposed Sabah State Water Services Commission or Spansa to also oversee sewerage services and to cut red tape, said the Deputy Chief Minister.

To realise this, he said the Water Supply Enactment needs to be replaced at the next sitting of the State Legislative Assembly.
