RANAU: More than 20,000 food aid packages (Barma) have been distributed to residents in this district through the Ranau Parliamentary People’s Service Centre between March and December last year.
Deputy Minister II of the Ministry of Home Affairs, Jonathan Yasin (pic) said, a total of 22,575 Barma were channelled to the residents.

With the announcement of the second Movement Control Order (MCO) recently, he said that the distribution of Barma would also continue with the delivery of more than 4,000 packages in January this year.
According to him, in the first phase of MCO last year, a total of 9,549 Barma have been distributed to the target group through the Ranau Parliamentary People’s Service Centre, while for MCO 2.0, a total of 17,900 household heads (KIR) have received the aid.
