Kota Kinabalu: Tawau-based Me Sing Enterprise Sdn Bhd has taken a bold step to spread its wings here despite the Covid-19 pandemic.

Me Sing Enterprise KK Branch Manager Ken Tsen said the company has been in the market for over 30 years and they have many loyal customers.

“Hopefully, the pandemic will end soon. In the meantime, we try to cope and do our business as usual,” he said at the opening of Me Sing Enterprise KK Branch at Bigwheel Industrial Park in Manggatal, near here, Saturday.

Ken said the opening of the company’s first branch in the State Capital was part of its expansion plans for the future.

“Our aim is the whole of Sabah. After that, we will move to Sarawak and maybe to West Malaysia,” he said.

According to him, in view of the pandemic, Me Sing Enterprise also planned to go online.

“But first, we need to find an efficient courier service that could handle the delivery of our goods to customers,” he said.

In conjunction with the opening of KK Branch, Ken said they are offering special prices on all its goods for three days, starting on Saturday (May 22) until tomorrow (Monday).

“We have support from our key suppliers like Sharp and Samsung, and all other suppliers.”

Me Sing Enterprise sells all kinds of household electrical appliances such as refrigerators, electric fans, televisions, exhaust fans, freezers, shower heaters, electric rice cookers, juice machines and washing machines, among others.

On the response from customers so far, Ken hoped things would pick up on the second and third day.

He said customers could come in the afternoon because the store opens at 11am.

Also present was Me Sing Enterprise Sdn Bhd Chairman Lai Chee Seng.
