Bad weather affects fruits in Ranau

RANAU: Weather conditions and prolonged rain for the past three months have affected the quality of fruits and seeds of farmers within the district.

Fruit farmer Mohammad Din Lai Abdullah, 55, said that the prolonged rainy weather resulted in poor quality of his honey jackfruit, lemon and guava crops while the seedlings were damaged due to overexposure to rainwater and humid temperatures.
